Confronting Radicalism With Action
We are true patriots, and will no longer allow cultists to co-opt that term while they trample the Constitution. To banish the evil of fascism in the United States, we're gathering others to fight for the rule of law, accountability, and the American Way.
This fight cannot be tied to or led by the Democratic Party – it must begin in the Heartland, by an independent coalition for Americans across the political spectrum, and remain focused on core American values. It must be more than protest – it must include direct legal and political action. The time to act is now.
We cannot allow fascism to destroy the greatest nation the world has ever known. As our ancestors did before us, we pledge:

Who We Are
The Henning Declaration is so called because it was first made in the small town of Henning, Minnesota. Each day, we watch the news and see the headlines get worse and worse. Things that would have made the great leaders of our past cringe are commonplace with the Trump Administration, and will continue to be so as long as MAGA remains unchallenged.
Many of us have never been politically involved. We are stay at home mothers, parish members, farmers, military veterans, and professionals of all kinds. But our concern has grown so much that we can no longer sit idly by.
Our ultimate vision includes both non-profit and political action committee operations, with efforts such as:
Proactive outreach to military and law enforcement to educate them on ways to refuse unlawful, illegal, or immoral orders; and supporting them with legal resources and economic aid when they stand up for American values like due process.
Focusing fundraising efforts, providing nationwide support to a network of organizations, both political and nonprofit.
Coordinating of public pressure campaigns against large law firms, universities, and corporations that cave to President Trump's demands.
Organizing large, impactful, non-violent demonstrations that cannot be co-opted by fascists.
The Henning Declaration is a statement of principles and action towards to restoring American democratic pluralism in our challenging times. We aim to defeat radicalism and foster a society where truth, liberty, and the American Way prevail.
Our Action Plan
We are not accepting or soliciting monetary donations at this time. Instead, we are at the beginning of building coalitions in both cities and rural areas.
At such time as our coalition reaches sufficient strength, we will take action to form the necessary legal entities to raise the largest political war chest America has ever seen.
